The 2020 Sold Story of Lacey’s Way – I have a very strong belief that when things don’t work out, it’s because something better is waiting around the corner.
. ⠀
This story is a beautiful example of this belief in action. After selling their home in record time and for the price they wanted, we were left in an odd and unexpected situation.
. ⠀
The pandemic hit with full force and the nation was swept into a panic. That resulted in a severe shortage of homes available and they were left without a home available to buy that fit their criteria. ⠀
. ⠀
They had waited a decade for this moment and they had worked hard to be in a position to buy their dream home… Yet, what they wanted wasn’t available.
. ⠀
After searching under every rock, soon we were under contract and so close to the finish line… Days before closing, it all fell apart.
. ⠀
I can fix most things. I’m incredibly resourceful and I don’t go down without a fight. This time, it was done. Our title company (I’m grateful for them!) found significant issues with the title and ability to transfer ownership. We had to move on while the owner figured it out. It would be a long battle and the Dulaney’s didn’t have that time.

✔️ It was time to get creative. ⠀
. ⠀
🥳 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗗! Within a few weeks I had a hot lead from a coming soon listing and got in first.
. ⠀
We swooped in with a great offer and terms the seller couldn’t refuse. It was the perfect house and it was worth it. ⠀
. ⠀

Tʜᴇ 2020 Sᴏʟᴅ Sᴛᴏʀʏ ᴏғ Pᴏᴘʟᴀʀ Sᴛ: If at first you don’t succeed… you learn from it, suck it up and get it right the next time because “𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁”. 💪 ⠀

Very very few homes slip through one of my marketing campaigns. A few years back, this one did.
. ⠀
The market was different, and we had some obstacles to overcome. The following year it was listed with another agent and it failed to sell, again.

Once again, I was asked to sell it. I had kept in contact asked for another chance. They gave me that chance and I wasn’t going to let them down.

🥳 In less than 7 days we went under contract, ABOVE list price. This home is now sold and the weight of this lingering burden has been lifted from their shoulders. I cannot tell you how honored and grateful I am that they gave me another chance and that I was able to meet and exceed their expectations.

Then, I think: “What have I gotten myself into?!”. 🤔😱🤣 ⠀

Not only were they wanting results, my mother in law was watching too! It’s ok though. I work well under pressure and in a matter of 𝟮 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 we were under contract FAR above list price.

I’m just sitting here manually processing showin

I’m just sitting here manually processing showing requests like it’s 2010 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣. Why you ask? Because I just launched a listing with so much pre-list momentum that we literally BROKE THE SHOWING SYSTEM when it went live today. So, I’m manually managing it and it’s kinda fun. A flashback to pre-auto, fancy showing services lol.
